In the grace and peace of Christ I warmly welcome you to the Logos Theological Seminary Islamabad. The Bible describes preaching in richer terms. Paul is Christ’s Ambassador “We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God” (2 Corinthians 5:20). It is such preaching that is needed today. In a nation where the Gospel has been rejected, and even in the church the love of some grows cold, we need preachers who will plead, and inspire, and challenge their hearers to come to Christ. I invite you to explore LTS, a lively, growing, richly textured community of learning and prayer. Here as a visionary and Principal of Logos Theological Seminary I seek to form mature, wise, and creative Christian leaders to participate in God’s reconciling mission in the world. My name is Doctor Bob Utley. I have been a pastor for a 15 years and a university professor for 16 years and since then I’ve been teaching for seminary short-term courses around the world and I am so happy to get to be a part of the Logos International Theological Seminary of Pakistan. I am author of many books, my academic specialty is hermeneutic, a hermeneutic simply comes from the Greek word to explain or interpret Herminie. So, we’re going to have a series of lessons on how better to understand and interpret the Bible which of course is the basis for our sharing the Gospel accurately to the people of our day. So, I hope you will think about signing up for the course. We’re going to talk about the original author’s intent. We’re going to talk about how to apply that to our day and I hope I can give you some helpful hints to be a better interpreter and a better witness of the Gospel.

My Name is Dilshad Aslam, I have served as Professor of Old Testament and Homiletics for seventeen years at Gujranwala Theological Seminary. I am a Presbyterian Priest as well. My heart beats “for the Church” of Jesus both near and far, and I am delighted to serve with Logos Theological Seminary strong, God dependent faculty in helping to mobilize biblically faithful, Christ-exalting, globally minded Christian leaders who will seek the obedience of faith for the sake of Christ’s name among the nations. I am committed to spread a passion for God’s supremacy in all things for the joy of all people through Jesus. We glorify God most when he satisfies us most. I have written many books for the students and believers of Pakistan. I am so glad to be the part of Logos Theological Seminary. The Lord has called me to train future and current church leaders to faithfully handle the Old Testament and to help them articulate how the whole of Christian Scripture progresses, integrates, and climaxes in Christ, for the glory of God and the good of his church. I fulfill this through teaching Old Testament and Homiletics, mentoring students, leading oversees missional training and service trips, and writing clear, compelling, and faithful works that can serve the church worldwide.
